App: GeoWhenWhere: History Quiz (visionOS)

This Privacy Policy explains how GeoWhenWhere: History Quiz (“the App”) handles information when you use it on Apple Vision Pro.

1. Summary

The App is an immersive history and geography quiz. We do not create our own user accounts, and we do not sell your personal data. Some features rely on Apple services (such as Game Center and MapKit) and optional network requests (such as Wikipedia summaries).

2. Information We Process

A. Information processed on your device

• Gameplay state (current round, guesses, scores for the session)
• Local preferences (for example, whether background music is enabled), stored with standard on-device storage such as UserDefaults
• Hand tracking and world sensing data used only to display and interact with immersive 3D scenes on your device

Hand tracking and world sensing are used for gameplay interaction and immersive rendering. This data is processed on device for the App’s features and is not uploaded by us to our own servers.

B. Game Center (Apple)

If you use Game Center:

• Apple may process your Game Center identity (such as nickname/player ID)
• The App may submit your session high score to the Game Center leaderboard

Game Center is provided by Apple. How Apple handles that data is governed by Apple’s privacy policy and your Game Center / Apple ID settings.

C. Maps (Apple MapKit)

The App uses Apple MapKit so you can place location guesses on a map. Map-related data is handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.

D. Optional network content (Wikipedia)
